The Sparta Academy Warriors suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2023 on Monday. They took a serious blow against Patrician Academy, falling 59-31. Sparta Academy has not had much luck with Patrician Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brodie Fowler, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fowler has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Sam Cook, who scored 11 points.
Sparta Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Patrician Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Sparta Academy will be playing at home against Jackson Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jackson Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Patrician Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
