This season hasn't been kind to the Sherman Wildcats, who are still winless after their fifth game. They were the victim of a tough 63-43 defeat at the hands of Panama on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Sherman of the 65-40 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
It was another big night for Carter Brink, who scored 32 points along with eight rebounds and three steals for Panama. Brink is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 18 or more in the last four games he's played. Bryce Hinsdale was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven assists and two blocks.
Sherman's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Panama, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-2.
Sherman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Panama's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Pirates at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. Hopefully Clymer Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Friday.
