Marion's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Logan Barnes, who went 9-for-12 en route to 25 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance gave Barnes a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Kobe Johnson, who shot 71% from the field to rack up 13 points along with eight boards and six steals.
New Haven's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Marion, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.
