The Central Rebels will take on the Seneca Indians at TBD on Friday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Central sitting on seven straight victories and Seneca on 13.
With a playoff game on the line, Central rose to the challenge on Friday. They secured a 48-43 W over the Falcons. This was one game where the offenses had no trouble playing at a high level.
Meanwhile, Seneca put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 41-17 margin over St. Pius X. Seneca's win was all the more impressive since St. Pius X was averaging only 16.86 points allowed on the season.
Seneca relied on the efforts of Gavyn Hoover, who rushed for 95 yards and three touchdowns, and Jackson Marrs, who rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per carry. Marrs' longest rush was for an incredible 86 yards.
Their wins bumped Central to 10-3 and Blair Oaks to 11-2.
