Seton Catholic Central came into Tuesday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took their game on the road on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 42-4 victory over Johnsburg Central. With Seton Catholic Central ahead 27-2 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Grace Trombley was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Seton Catholic Central's points. Monique Allen was another key contributor, scoring six points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Bolton Central stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Willsboro Central with a sharp 60-36 win. The win was nothing new for Bolton Central as they're now sitting on three straight.
Bolton Central found their leader in underclassman Maille Kelley, who scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Riley Huck, who scored 15 points.
Seton Catholic Central's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Bolton Central, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Everything came up roses for Seton Catholic Central against Bolton Central in their previous meeting back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 41-14 win.
