Winter's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Curtis Thompson, who scored 27 points along with seven steals. Thompson has been hot recently, having posted 21 or more points the last four times he's played. Gunnar Greuel was another key contributor, dropping a triple-double on 22 points, 22 rebounds, and ten assists.
Cornell's loss was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Winter, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-6.
