Trinity put the finishing touches on their 5th blowout victory of the season on Friday. They made easy work of Stevens and carried off a 39-6 victory. Trinity were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The win (their 3rd in a row) raised Trinity's record to 6-2. Stevens are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-3.
After their action against one another, the teams are leaving the conference to test themselves against outside opponents. Trinity will be playing at home against Somersworth at at 7:00 PM next week. These teams both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous games. As for Stevens, they will go up against Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton.
