They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 75-46 win over Englewood. DSST: Montview has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 26 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead DSST: Montview to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tara Majok, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Emerson Bowen, who scored nine points along with eight steals and six rebounds.
Englewood's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Soren Singer, who scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and six steals, and Dominic Dever who scored 13 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Singer has scored all season.
DSST: Montview pushed their record up to 9-1 with that win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.4 points per game. As for Englewood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.
DSST: Montview will be playing at home against Far Northeast W at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Far Northeast W comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Englewood, they will head out on the road to face off against Bennett at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Bennett is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 51.5 points per game.
