Bayshore is 0-5 against Booker since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. Having just played yesterday, the Bayshore Bruins will get right back to it and host the Booker Tornadoes at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Bayshore sitting on three straight wins and Booker on four.
Bayshore posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They breezed by Sarasota Military Academy at home to the tune of 75-35. Bayshore pushed the score to 61-22 by the end of the third, a deficit Sarasota Military Academy had no chance of recovering from.
It was another big night for William Strawbridge, who scored 25 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. His trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Demetrios Kimon, who scored 11 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Booker earned a 61-48 victory over Venice on Friday. 61 seems to be a good number for Booker as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Jovan Palavra continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last five games he's played. Jamareon Ruffin was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Bayshore's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11. As for Booker, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season.
