Basketball Recap: Terra Ceia Christian Piles Up the Points Against Trinity Christian

Terra Ceia Christian lost to Trinity Christian back in November of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Knights took their game with ease, bagging a 72-20 victory over the Tigers. That 52 point margin sets a new team best for the Knights this season.

Seth Meijer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 26 points and 19 rebounds. Those 19 boards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Ange, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds.

Terra Ceia Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in ten consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Terra Ceia Christian's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points over those games. As for Trinity Christian, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Terra Ceia Christian will venture away from home to face off against Christ Covenant at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trinity Christian, they will head out to take on Eastern Christian HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
