After losing to South Johnston the last time they met, Hunt decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hunt Warriors really took it to the South Johnston Trojans for the full four quarters, racking up a 56-24 victory. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 32 points or more this season.

Hunt's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for South Johnston, they dropped their record down to 2-10 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Hunt will head out on the road to square off against West Johnston at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Johnston will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Hunt surely won't give up without a fight. As for South Johnston, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-41 win against Southern Wayne on the 15th.
