Grant Community was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against North Chicago on Friday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 41-18 margin over the Warhawks. Considering the Bulldogs have won three matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grant Community to victory, but perhaps none more so than Doltyn Longin, who rushed for 208 yards and three scores while picking up 10.4 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Max Hembrey, who picked up 103 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Grant Community was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 234 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 163 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
