On Tuesday, Dec. 19 the MaxPreps Tour of Champions presented by the Army National Guard traveled into America's Dairyland to honor the
Whitefish Bay (Wis.) boys soccer team on its state championship winning season and No. 3 finish in
MaxPreps' National Rankings.

Whitefish Bay held a trophy presentation at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game. MaxPreps Representative Ray Dungee, summarized Whitefish Bay's tremendous season and congratulated the team on winning its third straight state title. Dungee, then introduced Wisconsin Army National Guard Specialist Jared Rosen, who talked about teamwork and the pursuit of excellence, shared character traits of a championship team and the Army National Guard.

The fans were enthusiastic as SPC Rosen presented the Army National Guard national ranking trophy to head coach Rob Dubinski and the soccer team.
"We are very excited to have the opportunity to accept this prestigious award," Dubinski stated. "Our program, school and community are thrilled to take part in the festivities. We are extremely thankful for MaxPreps and the National Guard."
On its way to outscoring its opponents 142-10 on the season, Whitefish Bay finished a 25-0 season with a 6-1 win over Oregon to claim its third consecutive
WIAA Division 2 boys state soccer title. Elian Haddock, Shawn Azcueta, and Matthew Comiskey were selected as All-Americans with Comiskey grabbing the Wisconsin Player of the Year award as well.
For Dubinski and the soccer team, receiving the prestigious Army National Guard national ranking trophy was the cherry on top of an already successful season.
