Arcanum extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping their season record up to 13-4 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 6-5 W against the Franklin Wildcats. For the Trojans, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.

As for Franklin, they dropped their record down to 10-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only one runs.

For Franklin's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Standifer, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI. Gregory Pearson was another, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arcanum will face off against Anna at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Franklin, they will take on Edgewood at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
