On Friday, New Life Camp didn't have too much trouble with Faith Christian at home as they won 63-47. The win made it back-to-back wins for New Life Camp.
Leading New Life Camp to victory were Hannah Brown and Julia Edwards. Brown scored 21 points, while Edwards scored 19 points along with eight rebounds. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Hime, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.
New Life Camp's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Faith Christian, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2.
New Life Camp will stay at home for another game and welcome Cary Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 12th. Faith Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Wilmington Christian Academy at 10:30 a.m. on January 6th. Hopefully Wilmington Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 32 on Friday.
