After three games on the road, Mt. Shasta is heading back home. They will take on The Biggs Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
After soaring to 32 points the game before, Mt. Shasta were a bit more limited in their matchup on Friday. They were beaten by Hamilton 48-6.
Meanwhile, Biggs can now show off three landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They breezed by Willows at home to the tune of 55-14. With Biggs ahead 42-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Davis Long was on fire: he rushed for 299 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries. Long was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 68 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Brady Smith, who rushed for 39 yards and a touchdown.
Mt. Shasta's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Biggs, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
Mt. Shasta was dealt a bruising 42-12 loss at the hands of Biggs when the teams last played back in November of 2022. Will Mt. Shasta have more luck at home instead of on the road?
