Lisiate Valeti Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Wednesday, Springville had to settle for second even though Lisiate Valeti put up the best numbers he has all season. Valeti rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He has become a key player for Springville: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise.
Springville is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5. Valeti and Springville will be playing at home against Highland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ayden Laws Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Wednesday, Cedar Valley got the W thanks in part to Ayden Laws playing the best football he has all season. Laws rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 62 receiving yards and a touchdown. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August.
The win snapped Cedar Valley's losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 3-7 record. Laws and Cedar Valley will head out to take on Woods Cross at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Aisa Galea'I put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in November of 2023 on Wednesday. He rushed for 33 yards and two touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made 12 total tackles.
The win (which was Timpview's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Galea'I and Timpview will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Springville at 6:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Feleti Iongi Delivers Electric Effort Vs Timpview
Orem was sadly handed a loss on Wednesday, but Feleti Iongi did his best to prevent it. Despite the defeat, Iongi was still balling out as he rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.
Orem's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-2. Iongi and Orem will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West at 6:00 p.m. on November 1st.

Timpview Gets a Boost from Rasmussen in 35-21 Victory
The second Timpview player making an appearance here is Carson Rasmussen, and for good reason. He threw for 265 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 passes.
Rasmussen is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Springville on Friday. When Rasmussen last faced the Red Devils back in September, he threw for 215 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.
