Seton Catholic is 9-1 against the Bulldogs since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Seton Catholic Cougars will head out on the road to challenge the Stevenson Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Seton Catholic has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 600 points over their last nine matchups.
In what's become a running theme this season, Seton Catholic gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 68-44 margin over King's Way Christian. 68 seems to be a good number for Seton Catholic as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Brady Angelo and Kaiden Wilson were among the main playmakers for Seton Catholic as the former scored 20 points and the latter scored 20 points. Wilson is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 20 or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Rico George, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Stevenson unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 44-43 to Castle Rock.
Seton Catholic pushed their record up to 12-5 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.8 points per game. As for Stevenson, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-4.
Seton Catholic didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Bulldogs when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 59-55 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Seton Catholic since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
