Owen Tackett posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 175 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles and defending two passes.
Norwood pushed their record up to 3-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Tackett and Norwood will head out on the road to challenge Mancos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Brycen Rummel Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Brycen Rummel posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. He rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 84 yards and a touchdown.
For the season, Rummel has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 166.7 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 40.71 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 75.14 rushing yards.

Brandon Vannest Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Brandon Vannest's big game helped extend Mancos's winning streak to six on Friday. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (101.1) per game. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played.
Mancos pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Vannest will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Norwood on Friday.
