The Chattahoochee Cougars won the last time they faced the North Springs Spartans, and things went their way on Friday too. Chattahoochee came out on top against North Springs by a score of 36-27. The win made it back-to-back wins for Chattahoochee.
Chattahoochee's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Riley Berninger, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Berninger continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Esther Mahu, who scored no points along with eight rebounds and six blocks.
Chattahoochee's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 16-9. As for North Springs, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20.
Chattahoochee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North Springs also has no future games currently scheduled.
