Jefferson County's tournament run continued when they took on King's Academy on Monday. The Jefferson County Patriots escaped with a win against the King's Academy Lions by the margin of a single free throw, 65-64. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Jefferson County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for King's Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

As for King's Academy, they will venture away from home to challenge Clayton-Bradley Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Considering Clayton-Bradley Academy has lost six straight at home and King's Academy five straight on the road (dating back to last season), this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum.
