It was a proper cat-fight when East Chapel Hill faced off against Chapel Hill on Tuesday. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 12-4 win. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Kay Silver was incredible, going 2-for-5 with one home run and three RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Esha Kamath, who scored three runs while going 2-for-4.

East Chapel Hill pushed their record up to 6-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Chapel Hill, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
