Chloe Newton was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
