St. Ignace's loss was  their fifth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Sault Area,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 3-10.

As for Sault Area, they will be playing at home against Cheboygan  at 4:15  p.m.  on Thursday. The  match will  give the Blue Devils their first taste of in-conference action this season.
