The Celebration Storm's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Lake Region 40-11. Celebration lost against Lake Region in their previous head to head back in November of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 47-14 score last time.
Evan Couch threw for 33 yards on seven of 23 attempts. On the ground, Lucas Morton-carlson rushed for 32 yards.
Celebration's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-9. As for Lake Region, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-5.
Celebration does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lake Region is on the road again on Wednesday and play against St. Cloud at 7:30 p.m. on November 8th. St. Cloud is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
