There's no place like home for Newnan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Alexander on Thursday. Newnan hasn't had any issues with Alexander recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Newnan easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16.

Newnan's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Alexander, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5.

Coincidentally, Newnan and Alexander will both be playing Whitewater the next time they take the court. Alexander will head out to face Whitewater at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Newnan will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
