Westlake Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Nieze, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Nieze has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Grayson Howe, who scored 12 points.
HRK's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Westlake Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. HRK will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Oakhill Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Westlake Christian Academy, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Westminster Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st.
