The Mineola Yellowjackets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 64-29 loss at the hands of Chapel Hill. Mineola has struggled against Chapel Hill recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Chapel Hill got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Braden Buchanan out in front who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Anthony Ramirez, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Mineola's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Chapel Hill, the win was the 27th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 30-1.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Quitman the next time they take the court. Mineola will host Quitman at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Chapel Hill will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
