Despite the loss, Lake Buena Vista still got an impressive performance from Annali Astor, who scored 31 points. Astor scored a full 68.9% of Lake Buena Vista's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Olympia to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ava Pazos, who scored 20 points along with 6 assists and 6 steals. Pazos continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Arlinda Roundtree, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Lake Buena Vista and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Olympia, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.
Lake Buena Vista will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Davenport at 6:30 p.m. on December 11th. As for Olympia, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Nona at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Lake Nona is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
