McDowell's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They came out on top against the R-S Central Hilltoppers by a score of 7-0 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.

McDowell now has a winning record of 8-7. As for R-S Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McDowell will take on Enka at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jets will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight. As for R-S Central, they will face off against Brevard at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hilltoppers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Blue Devils have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
