After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Cholla brought some dynamite into their most recent  matchup. They put the hurt on the Rio Rico Hawks with a sharp  16-6 win on Tuesday. With that  victory, the Chargers brought their scoring average up to 6.5  runs per game.

 Isabella Pratti made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing 1.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits.  Cholla was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .462. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rio Rico only posted a  batting average of  .118.
The  win snapped Cholla's losing streak at three games  and leaves them with a 4-10 record. As for Rio Rico,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 3-15.
Cholla will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hawks: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
