The Channelview Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their sixth straight loss. They suffered a tough 41-21 loss at the hands of Pasadena. Channelview was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Pasadena apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Pasadena found their leader in underclassman Caryme Molina, who scored nine points along with six steals and six blocks. Those six blocks set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Yvette Torres, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Channelview's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-12. As for Pasadena, their win bumped their record up to 10-15.
Channelview will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Pasadena Memorial at 1:00 p.m. Pasadena Memorial presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Channelview in Texas (Pasadena Memorial is ranked 511th, while Channelview is ranked 1333rd). As for Pasadena, they will head out on the road to face off against Sam Rayburn at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
