War Hill Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Parker Rawlings, who scored eight points along with four steals. Rawlings has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Aaron Stewart, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
War Hill Christian Academy bumped their record down to 3-4 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for St. John Bosco Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. War Hill Christian Academy will square off against Grace Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Grace Christian Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than War Hill Christian Academy in Georgia (Grace Christian Academy is ranked 69th, while War Hill Christian Academy is ranked 266th). St. John Bosco Academy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lyndon Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
