Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Fairview walked away with it. They were the clear victors by  a  10-1 margin over the Wayne Trace Raiders on Thursday. Considering the Apaches have won 12 contests by more than five  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Elijah Arend and  Anthony Singer made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound,  Arend   didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched. Meanwhile,  Singer   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Arend has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in eight consecutive appearances. At bat,  Arend  went 2-for-5 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and one  RBI, while  Singer  went 3-for-5 with one  double and one  RBI. That's the most  hits  Singer has posted since May 1st.
 In other batting news, Fairview got a  massive  performance out of  Zane Timbrook, who  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. Those  four  RBI gave  Timbrook a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cole Mack, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 Fairview  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 18  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least ten  hits in three consecutive  matchups.
Fairview has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.9 runs over those games. As for Wayne Trace,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 17-11.
