Flowery Branch won the last time they faced Cedar Shoals and things went their way on Thursday too. The Falcons walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Jaguars. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 22, 2020, but that streak is no more.

Flowery Branch easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-20.

Flowery Branch's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Cedar Shoals, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Coincidentally, Flowery Branch and Cedar Shoals will both be playing Madison County the next time they take the court. The Falcons will head out to face the Red Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Jaguars will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
