Several Wildcat players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zykijah Wright, who scored 13 points. Josiah Kimble was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Pendleton County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jefferson, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pendleton County will take on Pocahontas County at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Jefferson won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Glenelg Country at 4:00 p.m. on December 9th. Glenelg Country will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 52nd in Maryland, while Jefferson is ranked first in West Virginia).
