On Friday, the Cheshire Rams faced the West Haven Blue Devils in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Cheshire fell 25-14 to West Haven. It was the first time this season that Cheshire let down their fans at home.
Although Cheshire took the loss, they still got scores from Logan Kranyak and Jeffery Gonzalez.
West Haven got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Camren Kemp out in front who rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown.
Cheshire's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for West Haven, they have yet to lose a contest on the road this season, leaving them with a 8-1 record.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cheshire will have plenty of time to ponder what went wrong as they've got a bye scheduled next week. After, they'll take on Southington at 10:00 a.m. on November 23rd. West Haven will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Notre Dame at 3:50 p.m. on November 22nd.
