Lone Star barely beat Arlington the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rangers put the hurt on the Colts with a sharp 8-2 win on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Rangers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Brayden Harlan was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one double, and one RBI. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

Lone Star's record now sits at 9-18. As for Arlington, the defeat snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 13-11 record.

Coming up, Lone Star will be playing at home against Newman Smith at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arlington, they will head out to challenge Grand Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Gophers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
