Basketball Recap: Madison Academy Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Homewood, Madison Academy was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 63-44 win over the Decatur Heritage Christian Academy Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Madison Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for Decatur Heritage Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Madison Academy will finish 2024 at home by hosting Lawrence County at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. Decatur Heritage Christian Academy will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Springville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
