Downsville made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Castor, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Downsville Demons blew past the Castor Tigers 11-1 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Demons, who have now won five matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Downsville and bumps their season record up to 6-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Castor, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Downsville will face off against Arcadia at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Castor, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers duke it out with the Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
