Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Upper Arlington). They really took it to the Patriot Prep Academy Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up an 82-50 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Golden Bears have posted since January 3rd.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mason Seward, who went 8-for-15 en route to 20 points and six rebounds. That's the most points Seward has posted since back in December of 2024. Cameron Thomas was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards.
The victory made it two in a row for Upper Arlington and bumps their season record up to 13-7. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.5 points over those games. As for Patriot Prep Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 16-6.
Coming up, Upper Arlington will face off against Groveport-Madison at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Groveport-Madison knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Upper Arlington likes a good challenge. Patriot Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
