The Woodgrove Wolverines waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They snuck past Broad Run with a 57-52 victory. That's another feather in the cap for Woodgrove, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Dane Marsh, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last 12 games he's played. Joey Marcheschi was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Woodgrove is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. As for Broad Run, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 13-8.
