Springboro will challenge Little Miami at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Springboro 4, Little Miami 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
The home team had won the previous seven meetings between Springboro and Miamisburg, and Springboro kept the tradition alive. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Vikings 8-7.
Katie Jonas spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and four unearned) runs on nine hits.

Springboro pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Little Miami, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.
Springboro might still be hurting after the 13-7 loss they got from Little Miami in their previous matchup back in March of 2017. Will Springboro have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
