Salisbury is 10-0 against Fayette since February of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Salisbury Panthers will head out on the road to challenge the Fayette Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Salisbury is looking to tack on another W to their 13-game streak on the road.
Salisbury can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 92-29 win over Community. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Salisbury has posted yet this season.
Meanwhile, Fayette's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Hallsville 94-32. While losing is never fun, Fayette can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 495th, while Hallsville is ranked 69th).
Despite their defeat, Fayette saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Payton Oeth, who scored 11 points, was perhaps the best of all. Carter Vroman was another key contributor, scoring two points.
Salisbury's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Fayette, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
Everything came up roses for Salisbury against Fayette in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 69-27 win. With Salisbury ahead 36-12 at the half, the game was all but over already.
