Gunn is 7-1 against Fremont since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Titans will take on the Firebirds at 6:45 p.m. Fremont took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Gunn, who comes in off a win.
Gunn took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They blew past MacDonald 3-0. The Titans not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 2nd (when they won 3-0).
Gunn walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21, 25-18.

Gunn's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Grace Wong, who had 18 digs and two assists. Wong has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Zara Mayor, who had six aces and five digs.
Gunn was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in six consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Fremont lost 3-0 to Cupertino on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Firebirds in their meetings with the Pioneers: they've now lost three in a row.
Fremont was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-9, 25-22.
Fremont's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Gunn, their victory bumped their record up to 18-15.
Gunn took their win against Fremont when the teams last played back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
