The Loretto Mustangs lost to the Summertown Eagles  back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. Loretto came out on top against Summertown by a score of  59-50. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Loretto.
  Ally Weathers continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  scoring 28 points.  Jenny Clifton was another key contributor,  scoring 12 points.
 Summertown lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Emily Brazier, who  scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was  Karlie Campbell, who  scored 14 points.
 Loretto pushed their record up to 23-3 with that  victory, which was their 14th straight  at home. Those victories were due in large part to their  offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 58.4 points per game. As for Summertown, their loss  ended a three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 24-6.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Loretto will take on Community at TBD on Friday. Community will have to bring their A-game into this one,  as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 236th, while Loretto is ranked 12th). As for Summertown, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Grundy County at 7:00  p.m. Hopefully Summertown is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank  in Tennessee (they are ranked 30th, while Grundy County is ranked 178th).
