Basketball Recap: Gilbert Classical Academy Wins Going Away Against ALA - Anthem South

On Tuesday, the Gilbert Classical Academy Spartans strolled past the ALA - Anthem South Titans with points to spare, taking the game 45-26.

Despite the loss, ALA - Anthem South had strong showings from Landon Medrano, who posted seven points and eight rebounds, and Ivan Bautista, who earned three points.

Gilbert Classical Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points per game. As for ALA - Anthem South, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
