This season hasn't been kind to the Bloomington Purple Raiders, who are still winless after their 21st game. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 53-30 walloping at the hands of Peoria Notre Dame on Wednesday. Bloomington has not had much luck with the Irish recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Bloomington had strong showings from Evan Reed, who scored 13 points along with two steals, and Keyontae Hamilton, who scored five points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Reed has scored all season.
Bloomington's loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Peoria Notre Dame, their win bumped their record up to 10-12.
Bloomington will be playing at home against the Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glenwood presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Purple Raiders in Illinois (the Titans are ranked 63rd, while the Purple Raiders are ranked 514th). As for Peoria Notre Dame, they will square off against the Cougars at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
