Volleyball Recap: Shaw Has No Trouble Against Carver

Shaw barely beat Carver the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers on Thursday. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Raiders this season.

Shaw was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-19, 25-20.

The victory was the third in a row for Shaw, bringing their record up to 4-8. As for Carver, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Shaw will face off against rival Kendrick at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Carver is set to take on their familiar foe Hardaway at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
