Palo Verde has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Palo Verde scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They claimed a resounding 58-17 win over Santa Rita on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Palo Verde has managed all season.
It was another big night for Gaby Oliver, who dropped a triple-double on 30 points, 20 rebounds, and ten steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Palo Verde's points. Another player making a difference was Alexis Guerrero, who scored 14 points along with six steals.
San Miguel suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They were dealt a 69-20 loss at the hands of Highland Prep.
Palo Verde's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-15. As for San Miguel, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.
